The fully licensed 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo body is a highly detailed 3 piece body, featuring painted side mirrors, clear windows, a detailed interior, injection molded chrome plastic details, chrome decals, magnetic body mounts, and is LED light ready. Available in green or purple, a clear body version will also be offered for those wanting to create their own custom paint job. Additionally, the Monte Carlo includes authentic-looking whitewall tires mounted on chrome wire spoke wheels with center knockoffs.

The Redcat Monte Carlo showcases the new LR260 chassis, which features a solid rear axle and independent front suspension. An exciting aspect of this chassis is the ability to independently raise and lower each of the four wheels while driving, utilizing a total of five servos"”one for each wheel and one for steering. This LR260 chassis is compatible with hundreds of aftermarket bodies by using the included optionally installed body posts.

Included with the Redcat Monte Carlo is the LR6X six channel 2.4GHz computer radio system designed specifically for RC lowriders, featuring lowrider-style switches. This radio system is equipped with various buttons, levers, and switches that allow the driver to operate the Monte Carlo and perform realistic lowrider tricks. The design includes individual switches for each of the four height adjustment servos and momentary switches for raising or lowering the front or rear wheels to their maximum or minimum ride heights. The controls mimic those found on actual full-sized hydraulic lowrider systems, enabling a realistic scale simulation for the Monte Carlo driver.
