The fully licensed 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo body is a highly detailed 3 piece body, featuring painted side mirrors, clear windows, a detailed interior, injection molded chrome plastic details, chrome decals, magnetic body mounts, and is LED light ready. The Monte Carlo is available in green or purple, with a clear body also available for those who prefer to create a custom paint job. Additionally, the vehicle includes authentic whitewall tires mounted on chrome wire spoke wheels with center knockoffs.

The Redcat Monte Carlo is the first model to utilize the new LR260 chassis, which is equipped with a solid rear axle and independent front suspension. One of the standout features of this chassis is the capability to raise and lower each of the four wheels independently while driving. This is achieved by operating five servos"”one for each wheel and one for steering. The LR260 chassis is also designed to accommodate hundreds of aftermarket bodies with the provided optionally installed body posts.

The Redcat Monte Carlo includes the LR6X six channel 2.4GHz computer radio system, which incorporates lowrider style switches tailored for RC lowriders. This radio is explicitly designed for the Monte Carlo, featuring buttons, levers, and switches to control the vehicle and execute realistic lowrider maneuvers. The radio boasts individual switches for each of the four height adjustment servos, momentary switches for elevating either the front or rear to maximum ride height, and momentary buttons for lowering the front or rear to minimum ride height. The levers and switches mimic those found on actual full-sized hopper control units, offering drivers a realistic scale simulation of operating a hydraulically controlled lowrider.
