Santa Fe Warbonnet F7A HO-scale diesel locomotive by Athearn Roundhouse is a DCC-ready, ready-to-run model that recreates the iconic F-7A in the Santa Fe Warbonnet livery for HO layouts.

It features new body tooling based on the Phase I Early F7A, a revised frame with heavy die-cast weight and space for 21-pin DCC decoders, flush-fitting cab and window glass, and reliable all-wheel electrical pickup with two wires to each truck. The model offers single or dual headlights per prototype, separately-applied horns, and McHenry operating scale knuckles, plus all-wheel drive with a precision gear train and a 5-pole motor with flywheels for smooth operation. RP25 wheels ensure compatibility with popular track brands, and the locomotive arrives fully assembled and ready to run, with realistic paint and decoration on a highly detailed injection-molded body and a minimum 18-inch radius for HO layouts.
