HO-scale Roundhouse EMD F-7A diesel locomotive is a DCC-ready model that captures the iconic F-unit silhouette for modern layouts. Built with new tooling based on the Phase I Early F7A, it combines authentic styling with reliable, ready-to-run performance.

Under the hood, the revised frame features a heavy die-cast weight for solid traction, while all-wheel drive and a 5-pole motor with flywheels deliver smooth, quiet operation. It accommodates 21-pin DCC decoders and offers options for single or dual headlights, along with separately applied horns and McHenry scale knuckle couplers for prototypical handling. The model is fully assembled and decorated, with a highly detailed injection-molded body and RP25-contoured wheels that work on most brands of track. A minimum radius of 18 inches makes it layout-friendly, and dual rear coupler mounting options add flexibility for longer consists.
