HO RND F7A Locomotive DCC-Ready, GN #307A (RND-2241)

HO Roundhouse EMD F-Unit F7A diesel locomotive, DCC-ready and ready to run, road number GN 307A, brings the classic F7A to an HO layout with authentic silhouette and dependable performance.

Featuring new body tooling based on the Phase I Early F7A, a revised frame with heavy die-cast weight, and provisions for 21-pin DCC decoders, this model delivers a solid, prototypical feel. It includes flush-fitting cab, porthole and rear window glass, an all-wheel pickup system with two wires per truck for reliable current, single or dual headlights per prototype, and separately-applied horns with McHenry operating scale knuckles. All-wheel drive with precision gears ensures smooth, quiet operation, powered by a 5-pole motor with flywheels and a multilink drive. RP25-contoured wheels work with most HO track brands, and the locomotive arrives fully assembled and ready to run, painted and decorated in a realistic finish on a highly detailed injection-molded body. Minimum radius is 18 inches, and dual rear coupler mounting options provide railroading flexibility.
