Built with new body tooling for the Phase I Early version, it features a flush-fitting cab, detailed windows, and a revised frame with heavy die-cast weight for stable, smooth operation. Fully assembled and ready to run, this model includes a provision for 21-pin DCC decoders and dual rear coupler mounting options, making it adaptable to a range of HO layouts and decoder configurations.

On the rails, it delivers quiet, reliable performance with all-wheel drive, a five-pole motor with flywheels, and a multilink drive train for smooth operation. RP25 wheels ensure compatibility with popular track brands, while painted and printed decoration enhances realism. The model includes separately applied horns and McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for authentic operation, and it is designed for a minimum turning radius of 18 inches, easing integration into a wide variety of layouts.
