HO Roundhouse F7A Locomotive, DCC-Ready, RBMN 270, brings the iconic EMD F7A diesel into HO scale for modern layouts. This ready-to-run model accepts 21-pin decoders and offers dual rear-coupler mounting options, making it easy to configure realistic consists and adapt to different operating schemes.

Inside, a heavy die-cast frame provides solid weight for steady traction, while a 5-pole motor with flywheels and a multi-link drive delivers smooth, quiet operation. It features all-wheel drive with two pickups per truck, RP25 wheels for compatibility with popular tracks, and a highly detailed, injection-molded body with flush-fitting cab glass, porthole and rear-window glass. Fully assembled and decorated, it includes separately applied horns and McHenry scale knuckle couplers and is ready to run out of the box on HO track with an 18" minimum radius.
