HO-scale Roundhouse F7A Locomotive, DCC-ready, is a fully assembled, ready-to-run model that brings the classic EMD F7A diesel to HO layouts. Based on the Roundhouse profile, it captures the distinctive shape and detailing of the early F7A and is compatible with 21-pin DCC decoders for modern digital operation.

Inside, a revised body with a heavy die-cast frame provides weight and stability, while an all-wheel-drive system with two wires to each truck ensures reliable current collection and smooth performance. A 5-pole motor with precision flywheels and a multi-link drive train delivers quiet, dependable operation, and RP25-contour wheels help the model track well on HO rails. It features fully decorated, painted surfaces, separately applied horns, and options for single or dual headlights, along with McHenry scale-knuckle couplers and dual rear coupler mounting options for flexible lash-ups. The model is ready to run and supports an 18-inch minimum-radius curve, making it suitable for a wide range of layouts.
