HO-scale Roundhouse F7A diesel locomotive, DCC-ready, faithfully recreates the EMD F7A Phase I Early prototype for HO layouts. It features a revised frame with a heavy die-cast weight for solid tracking and a flush-fitting cab, porthole windows, and rear window glass that capture the classic look, with 21-pin DCC compatibility for easy digital upgrades.

Ready to run out of the box, this model includes a highly detailed injection-molded body, realistic paint and printing, and all-wheel drive with precision gears for smooth, quiet operation. It uses a 5-pole motor with flywheels and a multi-link drivetrain, RP25-contoured wheels for reliable performance on common HO track, and separately-applied horns plus McHenry scale knuckle couplers for authentic handling. With support for single or dual headlights as per prototype and a minimum 18-inch radius, it delivers dependable pulling power on HO layouts.
