Powered by a 5-pole motor with precision-machined flywheels and a multi-link drive, it delivers smooth, quiet operation, while all-wheel drive and electrical pickup help maintain steady current along the rails. A heavy die-cast frame adds traction and pulling power, and the highly detailed injection-molded body is painted and printed for realism, with clear cab windows, separately-applied horns, and McHenry operating scale knuckles. DCC Ready with a 21-pin plug accommodates digital control, and machined metal wheels with RP25 contours ensure reliable performance on most HO track. It's fully assembled and ready to run straight out of the box, with a minimum radius of 18 inches and a recommended radius of 22 inches.
