HO Scale 2-Bay Composite Coal Hopper with Load for ATSF is a ready-to-run model that recreates mid-20th-century coal service on an HO layout. Drawing on the War Emergency Composite Hopper concept introduced in 1942, the model echoes the era with wood-sided construction and a removable coal load, all brought to life with a highly detailed injection-molded body that is painted and printed for realistic decoration.

It features a separately applied brake wheel, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours. The car is weighted for optimum performance to promote smooth tracking, ships fully assembled and ready to run, and is designed for HO layouts with a minimum radius of 15 inches.
