HO-scale Gulf Mobile & Ohio 40-foot Pulpwood Flat Car with Bulkhead Ends is an authentic, ready-to-run miniature designed for pulpwood service on a model railroad. It faithfully reproduces a bulkhead-ended flat car used to load and transport pulpwood, with bulkhead ends that help keep loads stable during transit.

It features a separately applied brake wheel, 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and either 50-ton Bettendorf or 70-ton roller-bearing trucks for solid tracking. The car uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, is weighted for optimum performance, and arrives fully assembled and decorated to resemble the prototype. It accommodates a minimum curve radius of 15 inches on typical HO layouts. In prototype practice, bulkhead ends simplify pulpwood loading and help prevent loads—such as lumber or other bulk goods—from shifting during transit, making this car a realistic centerpiece for freight scenes on Gulf Mobile & Ohio-themed layouts.
