HO-scale rebuilt FL9 locomotive in ConnDOT McGinnis livery recreates the rebuild-era power used on Northeast commuter lines. Originating on the New Haven network, these units were rebuilt in the 1980s by Morrison-Knudsen for Metro North, emerging in the classic New Haven black, white, and red livery with Head End Power, updated braking, and modern electronics.

Detail highlights include HEP rooftop equipment with a large 36-inch fan or dual fans, modernized underbody components, and nose and rear HEP plugs, with optional ditch lights. Available in DC/Silent (21-pin DCC Ready) or DC/DCC/Sound configurations using ESU LokSound V5, this model also features correct horn casting by road number, steam-generator variants with as-built details, separately applied wire grabs, and a Mo-Power capacitor.
