HO Vancouver Iron Piggyback Flatcar CN #1 is a faithful HO-scale model of a Canadian National piggyback flatcar designed for intermodal service. In real life these cars were built to haul 26-foot trailers and longer, up to 45 feet, and CN rebuilt many in the 1970s to a single-hitch configuration. This version recreates the CN design with authentic proportions, providing a vintage intermodal piece for CN-focused layouts.

The model is drawn from original blueprints and design drawings, featuring a heavy die-cast center sill and a photo-etched deck surface for a solid, realistic look. It includes two hitch styles—upright and collapsed—along with wire grab irons, Barber S-2 trucks with metal wheels, and Rapido semi-scale metal knuckle couplers for smooth operation and prototypical detailing on modern or retro intermodal scenes.
