Based on Vancouver Iron and Engineering Works' original design, this model features a heavy die-cast center sill and a photo-etched deck surface for authentic detailing. It includes two hitch styles (upright and collapsed) to reflect prototype variations, wire grab irons, Barber S-2 trucks with metal wheels, and Rapido semi-scale metal knuckle couplers for smooth operation with other HO rolling stock. The result is a faithful, display-worthy representation of CN's piggyback fleet, ideal for realistic intermodal scenes on an HO layout.
