HO-scale Pacific Fruit Express R-40-27 refrigerated car in a 1970s Top-Icing Ventilated repaint — a detailed plastic model for HO layouts and displays. This recreation captures the look of a late ice-cooled reefer from the PFE fleet, giving hobbyists a historically accurate piece to run on their layout or showcase in a diorama.

Designed from prototype blueprints and field measurements, the model features separate wire grab irons, correct running boards and brake wheels, and road-number–specific cooling fan housings. It also includes positionable roof hatches, semi-scale metal couplers, free-rolling trucks with turned metal wheels, and authentic paint and decoration with multiple road numbers available for this scheme. As the first plastic rendition of these cars, it broadens the selection of period-accurate reefers for HO railroading.
