HO-scale Pacific Fruit Express R-40-28 Refrigerator Car. This Rapido HO-scale plastic model faithfully reproduces the late-1950s R-40-28 class of ice-cooled reefers used by Pacific Fruit Express, including the distinctive six-foot sliding plug-door paired with a two-foot hinged door designed to regulate loading and interior temperature. This release marks the first plastic representation of these cars, delivering accurate prototype dimensions and era details for HO-scale layouts.

Designed for HO-scale operation, the model includes separate wire grab irons, correct running boards and brake wheels, and properly detailed cooling fan housings matched to the road number.
