HO-scale Alco PA-1 Locomotive in NH livery, a second-run release from Rapido Trains, designed to bring the classic PA-1 prototype to life on HO layouts with road-name specific detailing and a smooth, reliable drive.

These models feature 3D-scanned nose and roof profiles, road-name specific details, full underbody piping and conduit, as well as separate factory-installed grab irons and handrails, etched-metal grilles, lit number boards, and a full cab interior. They are available as A units or in A-B sets, with either dynamic or non-dynamic brakes where appropriate. Rapido’s proven drive system ensures smooth operation, and the models offer DC/Silent (21-pin DCC Ready) or DC/DCC/Sound options, including ESU LokSound V5 for on-board sound. Where applicable, an operating Gyralite or red Mars light adds an extra touch of prototype realism.
