HO Scale Dash-8-40CM Locomotive with DCC and Sound, CN 2434 is a detailed HO‑scale diesel model designed to bring the Canadian National Dash-8 feel to your layout. It reproduces the Dash-8-40CM with authentic DCC control and onboard sound, giving you realistic engine rumble, horn blasts and cab ambience as it runs along your tracks.

Built on a heavy die-cast chassis with a powerful motor and dual flywheels for smooth pulling power, this CN‑road-numbered release features road-name specific detailing—from bell position and headlight configurations to CN‑style ditch lights—and offers an optional split cooling radiator for CN versions. It includes a newly tooled cab interior, etched metal see‑through steps, a detailed fuel tank and trucks, and factory-installed grab irons and handrails. Lighting is comprehensive, with operating headlights, ditch lights, rear lights, white class lights and sidestep lights, and the model is available in DC Silent (DCC Ready) or DC/DCC/Sound configurations with ESU LokSound and twin sugar-cube speakers, with factory-mounted couplers at the correct height for reliable coupling with rolling stock.
