Introducing the HO-scale EMD GP38 locomotive in CSX Grey, a highly detailed four-axle model designed to bring authentic prototype power to HO layouts. This version includes DCC and sound for realistic operation, with a DC-only option available for traditional layouts, and road-specific detailing that mirrors the CSX prototype.

Road-specific features include battery box doors and fuel tanks sized to the road number, separate grab irons and handrails installed at the factory, see-through etched steps, and a high short hood. The underframe is rich with detail—traction motor cables, air filters, and numerous individually fitted parts—while the lighting system supports operating headlights, rear lights, tri-color class lights, and ditch lights or beacons where appropriate. A highly detailed cab interior complements the overall realism, and the model uses precision metal handrails with plastic stanchions, multiple truck sideframes, and dynamic-brake hatches to replicate the prototype. Available in DC/Silent (21-pin DCC Ready) or DC/DCC/ESU LokSound configurations to suit different layouts and sound preferences.
