HO Scale CN H16-44 Phase III Locomotive is a finely detailed HO diesel model that recreates Canadian National’s 1600-horsepower hood-unit from the 1950s and 60s. This Phase III CN version includes road-specific detailing such as hood doors, handrails, and separately installed grab irons, plus the option of dynamic and non-dynamic car bodies. It features full underbody piping and conduits, lit number boards, headlights, and green-and-white class lights. Available in DC Silent (21-pin DCC-ready) or DC/DCC/Sound configurations, it’s designed to bring authentic CN operations to an HO layout.

Inside, prototypical components include Dofasco or Fairbanks Morse trucks, steam generators where appropriate, and road-name-specific fuel tanks, along with Macdonald-Cartier magnetic couplers mounted at the correct height.
