This compact General Electric diesel switcher is designed for light yard and industrial switching, and the HO model from Rapido Trains uses all-new tooling to faithfully reproduce multiple production phases—from Phase Ic to Phase IV—in NYO&W livery.

Built for realism and reliable operation, the model features a heavy die-cast chassis and fuel tank for a sturdy feel, with two fuel-tank skirt styles and separately applied door latches. It includes a full cab interior and photo-etched cab steps, and a smooth-running coreless motor with dual flywheels ensures steady operation. DC models are DCC-ready with a NEXT-18 decoder socket and speakers, while DCC models are equipped with ESU decoders and sound plus a Mo-Power capacitor. The lineup covers several phases—Phase Ic (with or without lighted hood-side number boards), Phase III with positionable top-hood hatches, and Phase IV—so collectors can choose the exact look they want.
