All-new tooling delivers multiple variations—Phase Ic (offering both with and without lighted hood side number boards), Phase III with positionable top hood hatches, and Phase IV—along with a heavy die-cast chassis and fuel tank, two styles of fuel-tank skirting, and separately applied door latches. It includes a full cab interior and photo-etched cab steps, plus a smooth-running coreless motor with dual flywheels for steady performance. The DCC-equipped version uses ESU decoders and sounds and includes a Mo-Power power capacitor for reliable operation on layouts with longer trains.
