Black Sidewinder 3/SCT ESC Cage (RPM73272)

Black ESC Cage for Castle Sidewinder 3 and Sidewinder SCT is a robust protective housing that installs in the stock electronics bay of popular Traxxas 1/10-scale vehicles. It encases the ESC body while keeping the cooling fan free to operate, and the side air channels help move air around the case to dissipate heat. Two screws secure the cage to the chassis, making maintenance and swapping between vehicles quick and clean.

Constructed from engineering-grade nylon, the cage is molded in black or blue and carries a limited lifetime warranty against breakage. A separate encased on/off switch mount bolts to the cage in one of four locations or orientations for versatile mounting, and the switch can be mounted elsewhere by drilling two 2mm holes. The design simplifies installation, reduces the need for tape, and keeps the ESC accessible for service when transferring electronics between cars. It is compatible with Castle Sidewinder ESCs and works with Traxxas stock configurations when used with the appropriate mounting plate.
