RPM Black Gearbox Housing and Rear Mounts for Traxxas 2WD Trucks (Bandit, Rustler, Slash, Stampede) provide a robust replacement transmission enclosure that blends aluminum and molded nylon for strength, durability and heat dissipation. The kit includes mounting hardware and instructions, and internal components (gears, bearings and shafts) must be transferred from the stock transmission to the RPM unit.

Made in the USA from 3mm-thick 6061-T6 aluminum with a durable nylon exterior, this housing features a smoother exterior that resists dirt and offers improved motor cooling. It ships with two rear mounts—0° and 3°—and retains stock bumper mounting holes for solid bumper or wheelie-bar support. The fully enclosed design reduces noise and keeps maintenance from affecting suspension settings. For the Slash 2WD LCG chassis, some minimal modification may be required to fit properly.
