Chrome Front Bumper and Skid Plate for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 is a chrome-finished three-piece front-end protection system designed to shield the vehicle from bash and crash damage. It combines a bumper, skid plate, and skid plate mount so you can run full front-end protection, or, for racing, remove the bumper and use the lightweight bumper/skid plate setup that sheds about 27 grams from the front end.

The design eliminates the stock bumper support ring and uses a thicker skid to cushion impacts, reducing energy transferred to the differential housing. Longer bumper mounting screws help keep the assembly secure under hard use. When paired with RPM light canister sets, LED lighting can be added, and roof-mounted light bars provide additional illumination, giving the Slash 4x4 a Desert Racing Truck vibe on night runs.
