Black Shock Shaft Guards (4) (RPM80402)

RPM Black Shock Shaft Guards are a four-pack of protective shields for Traxxas 1/10-scale shocks. They replace the stock shock spring cup with a shield that rises to the base of the shock body, blocking debris from striking the shaft and helping prevent seal leaks, which supports longer suspension life and steadier performance on rough trails.

Designed as a straightforward upgrade, the guards shield the shock shaft without touching the moving parts and come with replacement oversized rod ends. The shield geometry blocks debris while keeping the back and sides open to prevent buildup, and the front shield covers more than 100 degrees of frontal exposure. The kit is a stock replacement item and fits a broad range of Traxxas 1/10 shocks and Durango 1/10 shocks, including Ultra and Big Bore styles, as well as models such as Slash, Stampede, Rustler, Bandit, Nitro Sport, T-Maxx and E-Maxx. They’re available in Black along with Green, Blue, and Dyeable White; tech notes indicate not all configurations (such as Traxxas Jato/GTR shocks or certain RPM T/E-Maxx A-arms) are compatible.
