Chrome Front Bumper and Skid Plate for Traxxas Slash is a two-piece protection system that shields the front of the Traxxas Slash with a chrome finish. The kit pairs a rugged bumper with a thicker skid plate, delivering full front-end protection when both parts are mounted, while a lighter, racing-focused profile can be achieved by removing the bumper and using only the skid plate.

The setup replaces the stock chassis-to-bumper support ring and its five mounting screws, simplifying installation. The skid plate is more than 60% thicker than the stock piece to provide added impact resistance, and its wider skid rails match the design of the front and rear Slash skid plates for cohesive durability. Even with the extra protection, the configuration remains relatively light, and using only the skid plate can shed about 27 grams from the front end for a nimble, race-ready feel.
