An aluminum pro pinion gear designed for RC car transmissions, this 18-tooth, 1/8-inch bore, 48-pitch pinion is built to mesh with the matching spur gear for smooth, precise gearing.

Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and lightened to reduce rotating mass, it receives a double coating of hard black anodize for durability. The tooth count is stamped on the gear for quick identification, and a 5-40 set screw is included to secure it to the shaft. While recommended for on-road use, it can be used off-road as well.
