21 Tooth Blackened Steel 32p Pinion Gear with 5mm Shaft (RRP8621)

This 21-tooth, 32P blackened steel pinion gear is built for 5mm motor shafts and is designed to engage the spur gear in metal gear setups, delivering reliable torque transfer in high-load RC applications.

Made from high-carbon steel and heat-treated to improve surface hardness, it resists wear and promotes smooth operation with metal gears. The pinion is precision machined and stamped with the tooth count for easy identification. A 4mm set screw is included for secure mounting, while a 2mm Allen wrench is not included. It’s compatible with motors using a 5mm shaft, including popular models from Traxxas, Associated, and HPI, and can be used with 32P and 0.8 module gear sets; note that 0.8 module gears have a slightly larger outside diameter per tooth. For 1/8" shaft motors, a reducer sleeve may be required.
