Made from high‑carbon steel and heat‑treated to boost surface hardness, this pinion offers excellent wear resistance and smooth operation under demanding loads. It is precisely machined and stamped with the tooth count for easy identification. A 4mm set screw is included for secure mounting on a 5mm shaft; a 2mm hex key is not included but fits the screw. Compatible with 5mm shafts used by Traxxas, Associated, and HPI models, it works well with 32-pitch and .8‑module gears without adding noticeable noise or wear. For motors with 1/8‑inch shafts, a reducer sleeve may be required.
