Shock Shaft Guards Set of 4 for Traxxas GTR Shocks (RPM81692)

RPM Shock Shaft Guards for Traxxas GTR Shocks are a four-piece shield system designed to guard shock shafts from rocks, dirt, and debris. By shielding the shaft, they help prevent dents and burrs that can tear seals and cause leaks, extending the life of the shocks. The guards feature a simple two-piece design that replaces the stock shock spring cup and bolts on, forming a shield that rises to the base of the shock body to block frontal debris. The back and sides remain open to prevent mud buildup, and the front shield covers more than 100 degrees of exposure. They’re zero-friction protection devices, meaning the guards never touch the moving parts of the shock, preserving smooth operation.

These guards fit all Traxxas GTR shocks and are intended for 4x4 versions of Slash, Rustler, Stampede, and Hoss. Note that due to space constraints some inner shock mount positions may be incompatible with the guards, and they are not compatible with UDR or Revo. The set includes four guards, with no additional parts required for installation.
