The Sky Remote ID Module is a compact, FAA RID-compliant transmitter that adds Remote ID capability to RC aircraft. It acts as a digital license plate for the aircraft, broadcasting essential flight data—ground speed, altitude, position, heading, distance, time—and a unique serial number to support compliant operations and easy identification when needed.
Designed for easy installation, the module weighs about 14 grams and accepts 3.3–9V power from common connectors (3-pin servo, 3-pin ZH, or 4-pin ZH). It can be mounted in nearly any location or orientation and moved between aircraft with ease. It broadcasts RID data via Bluetooth, uses GPS for pinpoint positioning, and supports telemetry output (SRXL2 and XBus). Registration is completed through the FAA DroneZone, and the unit is compatible with non-Spektrum radio gear, with no hidden fees to operate.
