When paired with a Spektrum Smart charger, the battery’s built‑in memory communicates through the IC3 data wire, enabling automatic balance charging with a single connection and eliminating the need for a separate balance lead.

Built for durability, the soft‑case pack uses thicker internal metal side plates to improve heat dissipation and protect the cells. The onboard microchip stores vital information—battery brand, chemistry, capacity, C rating, cell voltages, temperature, and cycles—and logs events such as over‑charge or over‑temperature. It also auto‑discharges to a safe storage voltage (3.90V) after periods of inactivity, up to 1.5A, helping extend life and maintain performance.
