This 2400mAh, six-cell, 7.2V Spektrum Smart NiMH battery with IC3 connector is a high-capacity power source designed for RC models that use Spektrum Smart charging. It works with Spektrum Smart chargers to automatically upload its unique parameters and health data, so charging is as simple as pressing Start and letting the charger handle the rest. A built-in temperature monitor helps keep charging and discharging safe by detecting heat early.

Inside the pack sits a microchip that stores data such as battery type, capacity, C rating, temperature, and cycle count, along with a log of events like over-charge, over-discharge and overheating.
