This pack uses an IC3 connector to balance charge through the data wire, so a single connection to a compatible Smart charger is all that’s required. Inside, a microchip stores essential battery information — brand, chemistry, capacity, C rating, per‑cell voltages, temperature, cycle count, and health events — which uploads to the charger when connected. That data enables automatic, optimized charging and monitoring, so operation is simpler and safer. Smart G2 packs automatically discharge to a safe storage voltage after inactivity (3.90V after 72 hours) and offer a storage‑discharge rate up to 1.5A for longer life.
