Avian Dual 40-Amp Brushless Smart ESC for EDF Jets (SPMXAE1240)

Avian Smart 40A Dual Brushless ESC is the power-and-telemetry solution for twin-powered RC models, especially 3S–6S twin EDF jets. This ESC provides two 40-amp continuous channels and runs on a fast 32‑bit ARM M4 processor, delivering power and intelligence in one compact package. Real-time telemetry is sent to the transmitter over a single connection, so RPM, voltage, current and temperature data are available on the radio without extra sensors or modules. Two programming wires enable flexible setup through either the Smart ESC Programming Box or the SmartLink USB updater, and multi-point protection—including over-current, LiPo low-voltage cutoff, thermal protection, and failsafe—helps safeguard the system. The compact, heat-dissipating design, high-heat IC5 connector, and backward compatibility with EC5 connectors make installation straightforward.

Designed for 3S–6S configurations, the unit is compact enough for tight twin-engine installations and ready to install with no soldering required. It integrates seamlessly into the Spektrum Smart ecosystem, transmitting essential data—voltage, current, cell balance, temperature and RPM—directly to the transmitter for on-the-fly tuning. A thrust-reversing feature is included with compatible Spektrum gear, providing a motor-reverse option for improved ground maneuverability or braking when activated in the ESC parameters.
