The Avian 4240-1000Kv Outrunner Brushless Motor is a high-performance powerplant for fixed-wing aircraft. It delivers rapid acceleration and strong, efficient thrust, making it ideal for upgrading glow-powered or brushed models to electric propulsion, or for use in new electric airframes. When paired with Spektrum Smart Avian electronics, it helps provide reliable, precise performance across a range of model sizes.

Designed for 3–4S LiPo packs (11.1–14.8V) and a propeller range of 11x8.5 to 12x6, this motor features a lightweight design, rare-earth magnets and a 14-pole stator for smooth propulsion. It arrives with required hardware preinstalled—gold-plated bullet connectors, an aluminum motor mount, a prop adapter and female ESC connectors—so installation is straightforward. It delivers up to 375W with burst current up to 50A (continuous about 45A) and suits models from roughly 1,360 g for agile 3D flight to about 2,040 g for sport airframes, making it a versatile electric upgrade for 0.25-size glow systems as well.
