Firma 100A Black Edition Brushless Smart ESC for 2S–3S is a high-performance electronic speed controller designed for 1/10th–1/8th scale RC surface vehicles powered by 2S to 3S LiPo packs. Part of the Spektrum Firma Smart ecosystem, it blends precise motor control with one-wire telemetry, sending real-time data such as RPM, voltage, and temperature to a compatible transmitter without needing extra wires or modules for a streamlined setup.

Built for rugged, waterproof operation, the ESC features a compact plastic enclosure with mounting tabs, an aluminum heat sink, and a cooling fan to keep temperatures in check during high-power runs. It offers a configurable high-current BEC (6V or 7.4V up to 4A) and ships ready to install with no soldering required. Multiple programming options are available—button programming, the Smart ESC Programming Box, and a Smart Link USB PC programmer—and IC-style connectors provide reliability with backward compatibility to EC3/EC5 plugs. When paired with a Spektrum Smart LiPo, real-time battery telemetry (cycle count, battery percentage, and per-cell voltage) is transmitted to the radio, with firmware updates available to maintain peak performance.
