1/35 Schutzenpanzer Marder 1 (TAM35162)

This 1/35-scale model kit recreates the German Marder 1 infantry fighting vehicle, including the Marder 1A2 upgrade, for display and collection by scale-model enthusiasts. Designed and developed by Rheinstahl Henschel AG of Kassel, the Marder helped define a new class of armored fighting vehicles for NATO forces—the mechanized infantry combat vehicle (MICV). The Marder 1A2 upgrade adds a Milan anti-tank missile system.

For diorama work, the kit offers an authentic look at the Marder’s evolution—from early forward-turret prototypes to the later engine-relocated design—plus the Milan armament of the 1A2 variant. The Marder served for roughly twenty years and continued to be refined to meet NATO needs, making this 1/35-scale model a compelling centerpiece for Cold War-era displays with other 1/35 armor.
