1/35 German Machine Gun Team Plastic Model Kit (TAM35386)

During WWII, the German Army employed two types of machine guns "“ MG34 and MG42 "“ as the nucleus of their small arms. These machine guns had powerful firepower and high firing speed. Additionally, using a folding tripod Lafette and the telephoto optical sight helped these machine guns work at long range. The attachment of a loader magazine allowed firing by one soldier. A machine gun team normally consisted of three to five soldiers: one pair (one gunner and one loader) and other soldiers who carried ammunition, spare gun barrels, and a tripod. Their mission ranged from defense against enemies to support of troops.
