Introducing a 1/14-scale Volvo FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 Tow Truck Kit, a detailed, build-it-yourself RC model designed for hobbyists who want a faithful, display-worthy and drivable replica. This kit recreates Volvo’s heavy-duty tow truck with authentic scale details, including a molded cab, photo-etched front grille, interior detailing, and a rugged ladder-frame chassis that mirrors real-world construction.

Durability is built in with metal components, while the model introduces a twin steering system—the first seen in the Tamiya 1/14 Truck series—and a ladder frame with aluminum side channels and resin cross members. Power from a front motor drives the two rear axles via a propeller shaft, and a built-in differential on each axle supports smooth cornering. The suspension uses metal leaf springs and friction dampers, with float-mounted die-cast front and reinforced resin rear axles for stable, easy driving. A three-speed transmission is operable via the RC transmitter, and headlights and taillights can be illuminated with separately sold LEDs. An Actuator Set (sold separately) can be added to control actions through RC, and the Volvo FH16 recreation showcases a 750hp, 16.1-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine for a compelling scale presence.
