1/10 Volkswagen Beetle MF-01X 4x4 Off-Road Rally Kit (TAM58650A)

This R/C model assembly kit recreates the classic Volkswagen Beetle in its rally racing form. Known for its reliability and simplicity, the Volkswagen Beetle was a prominent contender on the global rally circuit from the 1950s to the 1980s, and this model pays tribute to those rallying Beetles. It features a polycarbonate body with metal-plated parts for the bumpers and side mirrors, along with front light pods and rally-style stickers for an authentic appearance.

The model is built upon Tamiya’s well-established MF-01X chassis, which provides excellent performance on various surfaces, whether asphalt or flat dirt. It utilizes a 4-wheel double wishbone suspension for superior handling, and the power from the rear-mounted motor is effectively transmitted to the rear wheels via a gear differential, with a propeller shaft extending to the front wheels. The chassis offers versatility as it can be assembled into different wheelbases using optional propeller shafts.
