The 1/10-scale M-08 2WD Concept Chassis Kit is a high-performance rear-wheel-drive RC chassis kit from Tamiya, designed to deliver reliable traction and precise handling. Built around a rigid monocoque main frame split into front and rear sections, it emphasizes ease of maintenance and modularity, drawing on proven M-07 Concept design cues for a balanced, tunable platform.

The kit can be assembled with wheelbases of 210mm, 225mm or 239mm to fit a wide range of bodies. A rear-midship motor drives the rear wheels through a differential in a Mid-Rear layout, while CVA oil-damped four-wheel double-wishbone suspension, universal drive shafts, full ball bearings and an oil-filled gear differential contribute to smooth, reliable performance. Front suspension mounts are 0 degrees and hub carriers are 2 degrees, yielding a total caster of 2 degrees for stable handling at speed. It is compatible with M-06 chassis bodies and can be upgraded with M-07 Concept hop-up options for enhanced performance. Assembly typically requires a 2-channel radio, servo, ESC, motor, a 7.2–7.4V battery and a compatible charger, along with a body set.
