Introducing the BBX 1/10-scale 2WD Buggy Kit, a compact RC off-road racer that fuses retro dune-buggy styling with modern performance. Built around a new monocoque chassis with a roll cage, it’s designed to accommodate realistic scale bodies and deliver dependable handling on dirt, grass, and track surfaces. The body, designed by renowned Japanese artist Atsushi Arino, features a classic 1980s-inspired livery with retro wheels and tires for a distinctive, nostalgic look.

Inside, the 0.7 mm polycarbonate body is split into three sections to reproduce the tapered dune-buggy silhouette. The 2WD chassis uses a front double wishbone suspension and rear trailing arms, supported by a four-wheel double-wishbone setup with CVA oil-filled dampers for responsive, controlled handling. A rear-motor layout emphasizes rear traction, while full ball bearings and universal drive shafts ensure smooth power delivery. The rear roll cage can be detached for easier motor access, and the kit rides on new metal-plated bead-lock wheels with large-diameter tires for rugged performance and scale realism. A driver figure and light cases add to the visual realism, and a spare tire mount adapter is included; an optional oil-filled gear differential is available for upgrade compatibility.
