A 1/48-scale Avro Lancaster B Mk I/III plastic model kit captures the RAF’s iconic World War II heavy bomber, known as the Grand Slam Bomber and powered by four Rolls-Royce Merlin engines. This detailed kit is designed for hobbyists who enjoy building historically accurate display models of classic wartime aircraft.

Includes parts to recreate both early Mk I and late Mk III variants, with two canopy styles, a rear gun turret, propellers and exhaust. Some canopy frames are pre-painted, and the cockpit interior, rear gun turret and main landing gear are realistically depicted, with the nose, fuselage top and rear turret able to be posed open or closed. Two Merlin engine versions are included, with the option to display with or without engine cowling. The bomb bay can be opened or closed, and ordnance such as 200 lb and 4000 lb bombs are included. Five figures—pilot, radio operator, bomber crew, gunner and ground crew—add life to the scene, and four marking options provide authentic finish choices.
