Monokote Insignia Blue 6' Roll (TOPQ0207)

MonoKote Insignia Blue 6-foot roll is a heat-activated film covering for model airplanes. This thin, clear layer uses a pigmented, heat-activated adhesive on the back that shrinks and bonds tightly to wood when heated with a sealing iron, delivering a wrinkle-free finish in the Insignia Blue shade that resists exhaust residue.

Designed for easy, professional application, the film conforms to curved surfaces and is puncture- and scratch-resistant. The adhesive side has a clear protective backing that must be removed before application, and small dents can be smoothed by reheating. Cleaning is simple with detergent and water or a dedicated MonoKote cleaner. It’s best-suited for medium-size models in the 2 lb (1000 g) range and up; smaller or lighter models may benefit from the lighter, low-heat EconoKote alternative.
