New Stampede 4X4

The new Stampede 4X4 features the latest generation 4X4 monster truck chassis design, a clipless body, and Sledgehammer® tires. The extended chassis allows the use of long-format batteries for ultimate convenience.

Engineered for maximum strength, the Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit fortifies Stampede 4X4 with a full complement of driveline and suspension parts designed to work together as a complete package. Combined with Traxxas’ cold-weather HD suspension arms, Stampede sets a new standard for brushless durability.

Monster Size

Stampede 4X4 rides tall on large 5.3″ Sledgehammer® tires for that classic monster truck profile. With nearly 3 inches of center ground clearance, Stampede goes places other trucks can’t. Stampede 4X4’s wheelbase grows by almost a full inch for increased high-speed stability. Short front and rear overhangs place the bulk of Stampede’s weight between the wheels for sharp turn-in response and improved handling

Reinforced Clipless Body

Stampede 4X4’s new rugged clipless latching system delivers secure mounting and easy one-handed removal. Battery changes are fast and easy with no body clips to lose. The internal body cage with integrated roof skid and tailgate protector strengthen the body for extra-long life.

New BL-2s Brushless Power System

Stampede 4X4’s BL-2s brushless power system ramps up the fun with up to 60% more speed and faster acceleration than comparable brushed power systems. Improved efficiency, high-speed ball bearings, and an internal cooling fan allow Stampede 4X4 to run battery after battery for all-day fun. With no brushes to wear out, the BL-2s 3300 Kv is long-lasting and requires virtually no maintenance.

Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit

Stampede 4X4’s factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit replaces key drivetrain and suspension components with beefed-up parts made for ultimate strength and durability. From the HD suspension arms to the steel wheel hubs, this is the strongest driveline ever offered in a Stampede.

Clipless Body Mounting

Stampede 4X4 now uses a clipless body latching system for secure mounting and fast, one-handed removal and installation. A rugged internal cage attaches to the body with molded reinforcements to prevent pull-through damage. Tough roof and tailgate skids protect the body in the event of a rollover.

Large 5.3″ Sledgehammer tires combine excellent ground clearance with true mud-slinging fun. The open-block tread design claws into gravel, dirt, and grass for sure-footed 4X4 traction on nearly any surface. The heavy-duty rubber compound is specially formulated to resist tearing and bonds exceptionally well to the aggressive wheels.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks™

Stampede 4X4’s oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize dual X-ring technology for a perfect seal and silky-smooth performance. The large oil capacity and rugged design soaks up big jumps and off-road abuse for smooth driving performance. They are easy to tune with a wide range of available oils, springs, and pistons.

Secure Body Latch™

Stampede 4X4’s clipless ProGraphix® body mounts on specially designed shock towers. The easy-to-use latch unlocks instantly with the quick swipe of a thumb and locks again with a noticeable detent to let you know it’s securely fastened.

Long-Travel Suspension

Stampede 4X4 has huge amounts of seemingly bottomless, ultra-plush suspension travel to swallow up jumps and delivers incredible control. Performance-optimized suspension components provide maximum articulation without binding or interference.

Extended Battery Tray and Hold-Down

Stampede 4X4’s new extended chassis accommodates long-format batteries for greater flexibility. A rugged battery hold-down secures the battery safely in the chassis without flimsy straps or clips to lose. They battery latch provides solid locking action to keep batteries safe no matter how wild the action gets.

Traxxas High-Current Connector

The patented High-Current Connectors funnel maximum power to the vehicle’s electronics. High-Current Connectors also provide the quickest, safest charge for Traxxas batteries.

Digital High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo

Stampede 4X4’s extreme speed and tall Sledgehammer tires require a steering servo that’s both strong and durable. The waterproof 2075 digital high servo provides robust steering authority with ball bearings for precise control and quick reflexes.

Waterproof Receiver Box

Stampede 4X4 incorporates a waterproof receiver box in the nose of the chassis to save weight and provide a clean, high-tech appearance. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented watertight seal to protect the receiver from water. No matter what the weather, Stampede is ready for action!

3-Channel Receiver with Fail-Safe Security

In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.

Dual Bellcrank Steering with Servo Saver

Stampede 4X4’s dual-bellcrank design pivots smoothly even in the harshest conditions. An integrated cam-type servo saver protects the steering servo from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.

New ProGraphix Body

Stampede 4X4’s aggressive monster truck ProGraphix™ body comes trimmed and pre-painted with the decals already applied. Tough internal reinforcements maintain the body’s integrity while roof skids provide rollover protection to keep the body looking fresh.

Heavy Duty Suspension Arms

Molded from our toughest composite material, Stampede 4X4’s heavy duty suspension arms provide just the right amount of flex to resist breaking—even in cold weather! Large 32-Pitch Gears

Stampede 4X4’s driveline is built to handle standard brushless horsepower power and even the extreme Velineon 3s brushless power upgrade down the road. The spur gear features large 32-pitch teeth for total reliability no matter how much power you pour on.

Upgraded Slipper Clutch

Stampede 4X4’s slipper clutch features larger alloy pressure plates and high-temperature aluminum pads for superior power handling. The slipper clutch delivers equal power distribution front to rear for instant throttle response through the drive system and aggressive four-wheel grip from the Sledgehammer tires.

Maxx-Duty® Driveshafts

Stampede 4X4’s Maxx-duty driveshafts with beefed-up U-joints are built to handle brushless power without breaking a sweat. Large 6mm axles key into the included steel wheel hexes for unmatched strength and durability.

Sealed Steel-Gear Differentials

Sealed steel-gear differentials are ready to handle brushless power without costly upgrades. Silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow the differentials to be tuned for specific running conditions by varying the viscosity of the oil inside them. Stampede 4X4’s modular chassis design makes differential access quick and easy.
