The Traxxas XRT combines race-inspired engineering with extreme 8s power and the strength of X-Maxx® to deliver unprecedented performance. Designed for stability and control at over 60+ mph, the XRT features a high-downforce rear wing that integrates seamlessly with its clipless body. The rugged wing mount absorbs impacts during hard landings without transferring shock to the chassis, ensuring long-term durability.
The XRT’s 3.8" matte black race wheels are paired with revolutionary Gravix® tires that provide superior traction and prevent ballooning at high speeds. The integrated wheelie bar ensures stability during aggressive acceleration and doubles as a carry handle for convenience. Protective top skids and reinforced body construction add resilience to the clipless body design, while cold-air intakes enhance cooling and durability.
Engineered for precision, the XRT's modular chassis design features interlocking components that simplify maintenance while optimizing strength. GTX™ aluminum race shocks deliver smooth, high-performance handling, complemented by an integrated shock tower design that dissipates shock loads efficiently. With its WideMaxx® suspension system, the XRT handles tough terrains with ease thanks to heavy-duty composite suspension arms, double-shear connections, and oversized sealed bearings.
The XRT is powered by a Velineon® 1200XL Big Block brushless motor and VXL-8s™ electronic speed control, delivering aggressive power and long run times. A rock-solid motor mount with keyed pins ensures precise gear mesh and reliability under extreme conditions. An aluminum heatsink with dual cooling fans keeps the motor performing at its peak.
Sealed 4-gear differentials with hardened steel components provide controlled power transfer, while the Torque-Biasing Center Drive eliminates wheelspin under full-throttle acceleration. The drivetrain includes heavy-duty steel CV driveshafts, splined aluminum center driveshaft, and shock-absorbing Cush Drive for ultimate durability.
The XRT’s patent-pending clipless body system makes installation quick and secure, while reinforced bumpers and skids offer additional impact resistance. Waterproof electronics ensure all-weather reliability, and the high-performance dual-bellcrank steering system delivers sharp and responsive handling.
