Blunami BKU-2200 Steam-2 Sound Decoder (TUC884607)

Blunami BLU-2200 Steam-2 is a universal steam locomotive sound decoder that brings authentic steam-era audio and modern control to HO and small S-scale models. It supports DC, DCC, and wireless operation, and can be controlled with the Blunami app on iOS devices (iOS 8 or later) for straightforward setup. Wireless control is available on iOS, with Android support not yet available.

Installation is straightforward: the BLU-2200 drops into models with a DCC quick plug or can be wired into NMRA 8-pin sockets using a JST adapter. The 2-amp, universal-style module includes a connector to add CurrentKeeper for steady performance on dirty tracks. The decoder offers a rich sound library—exhaust chuffs, bells, whistles, air horns, and more—with Dynamic Digital Exhaust that automatically adjusts exhaust to reflect load. Additional realism can be added with functioning brakes, injectors, power reverse, and firebox flicker. DDE calibration is easily done through the Blunami app. It’s suitable for HO and small S-scale locomotives.
